Rushaga Gorilla Sector

Rushaga Gorilla Sector is located in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. It is one of the park’s four main gorilla trekking sectors and is renowned for its rich biodiversity, beautiful forested hills, and several habituated mountain gorilla families. Rushaga offers excellent opportunities for visitors to trek through the dense tropical rainforest and observe endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The sector is also known for gorilla habituation experiences, which allow visitors to spend more time with gorillas under the guidance of researchers and experienced guides.
