Jessica started Arrive Africa Safaris in 2011, straight after finishing school and an internship. Planning safaris was right up her alley, and she has run the company ever since.
Enock joined in 2015. He is a software engineer by trade, and he plans a safari like a system that must not fail: permits confirmed early, backup plans for weather and roads, and a clear view of where every guest is.
We are a married couple, and we both love to travel. We still travel these routes ourselves, in Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.

One planner, start to finish
One planner designs your trip and looks after it from start to finish. Our team is reachable 24 hours a day throughout your trip.
Guides we know
We work with a network of highly rated guides, all professionally trained. We never leave the choice of guide to chance.
Honest availability
If the permits are gone or the season is wrong, we say so and suggest a better month.
In September 2025, the Office of the President invited Enock to a CEO retreat in Fort Portal on making Uganda a premier travel destination. He argued for better software and guide partnerships to track road and infrastructure problems.
A note from the founders
Why we still do this
People ask whether we get tired of the same parks. We do not, because they are never the same. The Kazinga Channel in March is a different animal to the Kazinga Channel in August, and a guest who has never seen an elephant swim will make you notice it again for the first time.
What we care about most is the pace. Nearly every complaint we have ever received about a safari — not ours, anyone's — comes down to a schedule that left no room. So we build in the gap. The morning you do nothing is usually the one you tell people about.
If you write to us, one of us reads it. We still answer the enquiries ourselves, mostly because we like knowing where everyone is going.
How we work
Local in everything we do
Every safari we run is led by local guides and driven by local drivers, and the lodges we choose are run by people from the places you visit. The money you spend with us stays close to where you travel: in wages, in rooms, in park fees and in the markets you stop at along the way.
